Post 3

The Killing ended its season. It was a fantastic season of television helped immensely by the casting of both Peter Sarsgaard and Elias Koteas. That's all I'm going to say about it though. If you haven't seen it I refuse to be a ruiner.

Second Post

This also is not a review.

Movies weren't the only medium with which my parents. I could also watch pretty much anything I wanted on tv (assuming I was awake). Although, my father would tape both Saturday Night Live and Friday Night Videos just about every week.

That's how I knew who Eddie Murphy was when I was six. There was absolutely a point to this when I began, but I've totally forgotten it.

first post

There aren't a whole lot of scenarios.

1) You know me and you like to hear me talk.

2) You know me and you felt guilty.

3) You stumbled upon it through absolutely no fault of your own.

Most posts will be reviews. This one will not. I want to talk about what I believe turned me into a movie nut.

PERMISSIVE PARENTING

In 1984 I was six. I was in first grade.

In 1984, I saw (in no order):

An American Werewolf in London
Psycho
The Exorcist
The Shining
Carrie
Christine

My father took my brothers and I TO THE MOVIE THEATER TO SEE 'BEVERLY HILLS COP

As a result, I really like horror movies. The more disturbing the better. None of that crap that makes you jump... I want to be changed.
